Hi Larry,

I don't do this very often, but by golly, you're right! Now, I'll make that change as long as you don't come out of the woodwork some day and demand a percentage of the writer's royalty or the publishing. :o) As you can see, I'm smiling, but smiling seriously.

I appreciate the thoughtfulness behind the suggestion and would love to hear your agreement to my fabulous offer. If you decline the offer, I'll probably change the words to "Choo choo train". That oughta get 'em.

Can't wait to hear how these worthy lyrics come out musically. Love them travelin' rhythms. Julia must've made the lady's day/week. And the experience will be magnified by the wisdom wrung from it.

Good morning Peter, I like your music, love your wife's singing and enjoy your newsletter/blogs. I am not by any stretch a writer, and certainly not a musician, but I'd like to offer a suggestion ofor the verse about lifetimes. In the last line, I think it would be much more personal and timely to say "we shared two lifetimes on (THAT) train."
Sorry to intrude.

Peter-
Julia's story is typical of most train stories in that they always involve strangers encountering each other unexpectedly. Yet each story is unique. The tale of Julia's particular encounter is very rich with nuance and feeling, and your synthesis of it into song lyrics is subtle and masterful. Congratulations.
Best always,
Jimmy

I love the posting on Julia's train ride with he woman. I hope you put it to music and we hear her sing it.

I only met Julia once at TMC after a service and she is the warmest individual and her voice lifts me up every time I hear her. She was so friendly and caring. It was such a treat for me. I am so grateful for her singing at TMC (I listen to the solo online from my computer at home in Maine, too.)

I've ordered sheet music from Watchfire many times for our soloist in Camden and Julia even helped by email when I needed help. Thank you for all you do composing, playing and having this site! It's a blessing to all who use it!
